PhD Research Fellow, Tassy Ellen Thompson is an interdisciplinary researcher working between Culture Studies and the Department of Visual and Performing Arts at USN. She has mapped a small taste of her colleagues' research and started to create a 'visual and multisensory' of academic research and place as part of her PhD research on landscape, knowledge and sustainability.

Why?

We hope to make more accessible and visible the diverse projects The Learning and Teaching for Sustainability Research Group members are working on. These include: learning with animals, performance art, community digital mapping projects, embodied learning with trees, sustainable crafting, community land management and more. The theme of the 2020 Research Days is 'the brain'. These recorded 'digital journeys' are only a small selection of LETS work but we hope it provides a visual/auditory analogy for a synaptic 'brain scan' of our interconnected and relational knowledge-creation.
